1 Thessalonians 5

“16 Be joyful always; 17 pray continually; 18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Matthew 6

“5 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.”

Prayer is an essential part of our life both at home and in church. You can contact the church with a prayer request [715.832.9713] or write a prayer request in the prayers book at the back of the sanctuary prior to a church service. Our prayer group meets Tuesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the church lounge and there is also a telephone prayer chain. If you worship here at Grace, there are Prayer Cards in the back of every pew. Prayer request are kept confidential & will not be published.

Please remember to let the admissions staff know of your desire to have one of our ministers or our parish nurse visit you during a hospital or nursing home stay. If you would like to receive daily prayers or devotions via the web, the following are some great resources available through the ELCA.
