Funeral preparation/pre-planning
In a time of grief, our pastors are prepared to serve your family. You may contact them directly through the church office, 832.9713; or through a local funeral home. You may request any Grace Lutheran minister to help serve your family during this time of mourning and celebration of life lived.
Pre-planning not only helps your minister know about your wishes, but more importantly, allows your family to help make suggestions and become a part of this lasting journey.
Our sanctuary is available for large funeral and memorial services, while our Parable Chapel provides a more intimate setting. Family members are encouraged to share memories and read tributes if so desired. Being surrounded by family and loved ones in a setting where all have worshiped before, helps reinforce God's message of everlasting life.
A funeral luncheon or dessert is often a good way of sharing stories and fellowship following a funeral service. The family should speak with our church administrator regarding what is to be served and how many people might be attending. Please contact the office manager at 832.9713 or by email.
