Welcome to Grace

From our Pastor…Greetings in Jesus’ name, and know that you’re welcome here in the new Grace Lutheran Church. That’s right – “new” for at least two reasons: 1. we believe God is always “making all things new” including the church and, 2. we’re back in our building after a period of exile and we’re overflowing with openness and a zest for what’s next. 2015 is like the craziest and best time ever to be the church. So much is happening in biblical studies and spirituality these days our heads are happily spinning with ideas and possibilities for ministry. Old things are taking on a new look!We are always asking what new thing God is doing, convinced that it is always gracious. Our worship has ancient roots though we employ contemporary forms of art and music. We believe Christian worship and community should be joyful – something like the “highlight of each week” for all people of all ages.We believe in treating all people with respect, wherever they are in their faith journey. We work to “speak the truth in love” as we perceive it in Jesus, even as we trust God to lead each person along their own unique way.Of course there is much more. If you believe, as we do, that faith should lead to sinlessness rather than to mindlessness, you could make a wonderful contribution to the kingdom of God here at Grace Lutheran. We’d love to meet you!Dean W. Simpson, pastor From our Pastor…Greetings in Jesus’ name, and know that you’re welcome here in the new Grace Lutheran Church.
