Our beliefs and foundation
Grace is a worship community following Christ in our neighborhood, our city, and our world. We’ve been located on Grand Avenue in Eau Claire for over 100 years founded by Norwegian immigrants, but our community is always changing in response to the needs of every new generation. Today, as in the past, we deliver a progressive message within traditional worship service. We also continue to have a strong music and arts program.
We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) to www.elca.org one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States, with about 4 million members. As members of the ELCA our faith and focus is the good news of Jesus Christ which gives us the freedom and the courage to work wonder, discover and boldly participate in what God is up to in the world. At Grace you will find singles and couples, children and the retired, gay and straight, the churched and marginally churched, artists and business owners, engineers and teachers, lawyers and librarians. When you come to Grace, you will find people who have been members of this congregation since birth and those who have just become new members.
Consider visiting Grace, you are welcome here no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.
