Grace Lutheran Church
Grace for All
The Arts have always played a very visible and important role in the life at Grace and have a biblical, historical and theological significance. From its earliest days the congregation has been inspired in their faith and devotion through an engagement in the arts. A rotating collection of paintings and decorative arts are on display throughout the building. We support area musicians and vocalists by making our building available to a variety of music groups for both rehearsal and performance.
Rehearsal Times: Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 9 a.m. Location: 3rd floor in the rehearsal room
How can we keep from singing?
Our choir performs a wide variety of anthems and helps lead the singing of hymns and liturgy. The Grace Choir, under the direction of Julie DeBoer and accompanied by Elaine Mann, practices Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 9:00 a.m. to make it convenient for busy individuals to rehearse and sing during the 10 a.m. worship service.
The choir sings on Sundays, from the month of September through the month of May. New adult and high school age members are always welcome.
Choral music is a treasured part of our Lutheran heritage. Today, our church community is blessed with many talented members who willingly and generously share their musical gifts during Sunday worship services and special church events. Come to 10:00 a.m. worship service and listen to this amazing choir sing from their vast repertoire of beautiful anthems. Better yet, join the choir, as they always welcome new voices!

Ring to the Lord!
Making use of beautiful bells, the Pacibells Handbell Choir helps to lead worship several times throughout the year. The handbell choir plays a variety of music styles.
To learn more about the Handbell Choir…
The early Memorial Pipe Organ was installed in 1919 and dedicated to the men and women who served their country during the World War. This organ was placed on the main floor in the front of the chancel. The dedication of the Memorial Chimes was in 1938.
Later, the Schlicker Organ was installed in 1960. The instrument was referred to as the Golden Anniversary Organ in honor of the 50-year celebration of our congregation.
The organ’s prime purpose is to inspire and lead the congregation and choir, as well as to supply service music. The instrument is also capable of playing organ literature from any period and playing it well. It can lead majestically but can also evoke the quietest prayers.
A smaller organ by Jan Von Dalen was purchased in 1982 and is located in the Parable Chapel.
To the glory of God!
The church owns a large number of art pieces collected over the decades. They are rotated throughout the year and throughout the building.
Illuminating t he Word!
When stepping into Grace, your eyes seek the light shining through stained glass windows. The windows throughout the church add illumination and beauty at once. They tell stories, educate and inspire.
